Water security
OUR INITIATIVES
On islands like Carriacou, clean water was never a guarantee — and after a storm, it becomes a daily fight. Broken infrastructure, drought, and limited public supply leave families rationing, travelling for water, or going without. Water Security is how we turn that scarcity into something families can rely on, for the long haul, not just the emergency.
Project Aqua Carib
Our founding water programme, delivering clean drinking water directly to Caribbean communities without reliable access.
What we did: Distributed bottled water across Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique following Hurricane Beryl, expanding into Aqua Aid II to reach households through dry season.
Impact: 200,000+ bottles of water distributed since launch.
EduAid school water support
Daily water access for Caribbean schoolchildren, tackling one of the first things a disaster or drought takes away — safe water at school.
What we did: Installed sustained water provision in schools across Carriacou and Petite Martinique, so every schoolchild has access to safe drinking water throughout the day.
Impact: 2 bottles of water delivered daily to every schoolchild across Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
